    D9P ladybug baby quilt.

My niece had Kaitlyn Molly on 4/16. I completed this quilt for her and my stepfather will be delivering it to her on Thurs. It is a D9P using 3 colors, using muslin for batting and backing is pulled to front for binding. it is 38" sq. and was completed in a day. I tied it instead of quilting, but stitched over the ties to keep them from coming loose. My mom bought the ladybug pillow pet to go with it. I just love this!!!!

Your quilt brought memories back of one I made for my granddaughter -- what a beauty yours is! One thing, though, the length of the embroidery tails should only be less than 1" each (I do mine 3/4") for safety with babies and children. What a great idea to include the ladybug toy with it! Cute, cute!

Funny ,Rebecca, I was called "Lady Bug" as well. Back in the day when we all travelled with cb radios, my handle was "Lady Bug" too.
I love the ladybug quilt and the little pillow pet is cute as well. I know your new little niece will love it!

    Hugs, Drue
