    Dad's Quilt

This was special gift for my dad. We were estranged for years, but I am happy to say all it well between us. I love my dad and I think he is the strongest man I've ever met with my husband coming in at a close second. (Sorry honey) I thank God that we have had a second chance to be family once again. I am not as good at this quilting stuff as some of you but I do enjoy it so much and I get better with every one I make.

I like it! Manly looking. I really like pinwheels in corner. Glad you were able to patch things up with him. (pun intended) :-)

May I say that i strongly disagree with this statment. Your quilt is beautiful! I love blue and white quilts. Looks like it's a hit with your dad as well. When I recently gave my dad (age 94) a quilt I told him I wanted him to use it and wear it out. Hope your dad wears out his quilt cause that means you'll have many years together.

Awesome!!! Thank you for sharing such a wonderful story. I think you are doing a fine job at quilting. There are lots of beginners here and best of all....NO QUILT POLICE! Just great advice.
