    My, my, you really put a lot of thought and work into your dad's quilt! He is going to be so touched! I never regretted making one for my dad. He was so proud of it while he was alive.

    I did. Unfortunately, I can't see a straight line so all of the writing goes uphill - that's why there is so much extra stuff around the letters - to try and hide the fact that the letters aren't even.
