    I applaud you, not only for the dress making but to use the panne velvet again in a quilt. You have much courage and fortitude I do believe as, my experience with said fabric did not have happy endings.

    That is beautiful! I love to see people make quilts out of things other than fancy quilt store fabrics.It encourages those who can not afford the fancy fabrics.

    Gorgeous!!! I also sewed 4 my girl when she was little. I could kick myself for not saving dresses or even the material. I have gotten to sew for my 5GD some tho but with cotton, I hate to see it stay in the dryer & get so wrinkled. But nowdays they don't wear dresses so much. A shame!!
