Curling up in that will feel wonderful. Great idea to use the dresses in a quilt that will surely bring back many memories.

yes panne' velvet is a knit and it is very stretchy. If you are use to working with knits then this pattern is not bad. You just have to handle it differently than woven fabrics.

Well, this quilt fabric will surely have a ton of memory!!! I bet she'll love it to pieces. Very creative and special. Thanks for sharing.
