Daughter's quilt Finished...

FINALLY! I don't know why I had such a hard time with this one. Maybe because everything was hand drawn..Just about the time I would get started something else needed my attention. It was always something! I used my AccuQuilt triangle cutter to cut out the leaves. And I used sheets for the front & back and cotton batting. Then I quilted it pretty heavy since I know this one is going to be loved to death.
Totoro is a movie that my kids watched when they were little and its a family classic. I googled the Totoro and drew the designs from there. The little black things are little dust bunnies...or soot sprites from the story. They need to be ironed down..their tufts are all wonky. I really did have alot of fun with it but am SOOO glad its done! Now I can move on! I hate those projects that get stuck for no good reason. =)

OMG OMG TOTORO! I'm a die-hard Miyazaki fan and you did this beautiful movie justice with your quilt! Your daughter is absolutely going to love it. One of my favorite quilts that I've seen in a long time!
