Default Daughter's T-shirt Quilt

My daughter saved back a few of her favorite t-shirts from high-school. She put them in a drawer and she hoped to make her own quilt one day, but couldn't find a design she liked. Then I found Turning 20, which uses a focus block. I thought I could incorporate each t-shirt as a focus block to build around.

I modified the pattern/block to the size of each t-shirt design. I hope she likes it.

I incorporated a picture of her high school volleyball team on the quilt label. Her team placed as the Runner Up in the State Tournament in 2003. And excuse me, but I'm going to brag here. If anyone is familar with the USA Volleyball team, one of the current players went to high school with my daughter and was on the team with her. My daughter is in the back row, 2nd player from the left. Jordan Larson, Team USA member, is next to my daughter, the 3rd player from the left. We are very proud of her!

I really, really like how you incorporated the t-shirts into the Turning Twenty pattern! Much more fun and interesting than just straight rows of shirts. Well done! (and I might 'borrow' your idea, if you don't mind)

qbtexas: I don't mind at all! I have learned so much from my friends on this board, and have gotten so much enjoyment from others who have shared their work.
