Why didn't i think of that!!!!!!!!!!!! I love it and it's perfect for a guy/boy.... not many do i like for them, but this one just "sings perfectly"... Hope you don't mind if i make a few quilts using your idea!!!!!!!!!! I've a WALL of fabrics that i'm thinking of just picking colors that work together and then cut em' in strips!!!!! :)Barbara

I bought about 16-20 1/4 of a yds of different black and white material. The center piece is about 18-20 inches long. Than I just started adding stripes of fabric to it. The boarders are 3 inches and 2 inches. Thwe quilt measures 50ish by 70ish. You can make it any size you want. Hope this helps
