Looks great-good choice for border/sash...I like EB patterns they are all so easy to follow and do......I also have this one, but have not tried it yet. Since you said it was really not as hard as it looks and would do again may tempt me to try it....

The yellow is perfect! Sometimes we know our quilts better than anyone else does. They have a personality to them that sometimes isn't evident to someone else. What a happy quilt! Great job!!!

Beautiful !!! I used the same colors to make a Storm At Sea for a grandaughter who is married to a Navy man.

I took the class personally from Eleanor Burns for this quilt/pattern, which made it even more fun to make the first time, and, you are right...it is easy, so I have made it several times now.

I think the yellow around it is great, and I remember some of the completed quilts she showed us in the class had a different color border strip than what was used in the rest of the quilt, too. It makes the stars stand out even more. Thanks for sharing. It's beautiful.
