I still have to finish this. It is a lap quilt out of 1 bali pop pack. Have to add a 6 inch border - DD picked it out and it will be purple as will the binding. I tried to talk her into turquiose for the border or binding, but she wasn't interested. That's Ok - its her quilt.

So... how would you FMQ this? It is another opportunity to practice for me so anything goes. I was thinking a larger design in the center squares and working out from there. Or all the squares a different design. DD doesn't care what the quilting is - she just wants a finished quilt!

Any and all ideas are appreciated :)

Very pretty. I don't have any suggestions for FMQ, just enjoy the practice.

Love it! Check out some of the quilting that Charismah has done. She does a pretty fern pattern that looks great on batiks.

I like the idea of a variety of FMQ desings all over. Maybe some flowery looking ones with leaves.

So many different options for quilting. A different one in each square would look terrific.
Just remember that you should try to keep the quilting even over the entire quilt.
