That's wonderful. I would love for my DD to take an interest in my quilts...other than sleeping under them!

It's so cute to see them both lost in thought separately :D
He is just so cute!!! :D:D
She is too......... but very interesting hair lol don't you dare tell her I said that hahaha
Some things just don't change. My Mom used to go crazy over my hair styles at that age but my Dad thought all my phases were cute :)

We never tell her anything about her hair mostly because we both came from homes where the parents felt they had to have complete control over everything from clothes to hair, we have our limits with these things. I find there are worse things to fuss over. During the summer she has multi colored hair in pink, green and purple. That doesn't look good on everybody but it looks good on her.

I totally agree. You need to pick your battles. The hair stuff is so normal even when they don't look normal haha
One of my boys went through a phase of having huge dots all over his head in different colors. Come to think of it my Dad thought it was hilarious also!! :D
You and your DH are wise about these things!!
Said son now has regular hair and is a teacher :D

I have a great machine but it decided to give her every fit it could. Every 10 to 20 minutes I would hear MOM. The thread would get wrapped aroung something or it would break, the bobbin thread kept breaking too. It was funny to me because I never have any problems with it. Infact I sewed for a couple of hours this morning without any problems. I guess it just likes one user, ME!
That means you need to get her, her own sewing machine.

That is neat that she is working on a quilt. Too bad though about the machine acting up. I just hate that don't you? But I guess it comes with sewing. She is doing a great job it looks like.
