pretty...if you are wanting to post a pix of each of your blocks you might consider make a "diary" topic instead of using the picture area..that way you can keep adding your pix and have them all in ONE topic so it is easier to find!

Or you could add it to the main thread that began January, 2010. Here is a link: http://www.quiltingboard.com/virtual...jsp?vsnum=1009

Or to find it without the link, go to the bottom of the page and click on Topic Lists, and then scroll down to the Jane Stickle thread.

Block no. 2 looks good. If you can keep up this rate, it won't take too long to get there.

Your block is lovely. My daughter did the entire Dear Jane using batiks.

Just the book, and not paper piecing.

This is going to be so awesome when it's finished. I love the idea of using batiks for this. Are you pre-washing your fabrics?

Very nice. I just bought the book and my fabric is on it's way. I'm also doing batik but my blocks will each be a different batik with cream background. I purchased 10 yards of background. How much did you get?

I will watch your progress! :)
    Happy Quilting

I started with 6 yards of background, and after someone said she had used 15 yards, I went back and got 2 yards more. Still, I wonder if she meant she used 15 yards total of all fabrics combined.

I may have some of that from a quilt I made a few years ago -- I think it is in WA right now so I won't know until we get back in Nov -- PM me if you run out.
