Wow...amazing and beautiful! You made the right decision by enlarging the blocks when using those beautiful fabrics...now...we answers to all the questions...you'll HAVE to give us more details!!

just gorgeous, love the fact that blocks are larger, like the border treatment too. How exciting to see one finished.

Ok..here goes...sorry I dont have any other photos...I actually sold the quilt last year cause it just does not fit with my decor! LOL I love working with Asian fabrics but dont really like them to use once finished. I have just started making it again in Shabby Chic fabrics.

I used the Dear Jane software to enlarge the blocks...I actually started the smaller one when I owned a patchwork shop in brisbane (about 4 years ago) but decided bigger blocks would be better for an ongoing class. I work a lot in QAYG so it was done using that method. I used a variety of methods including foundation piecing, aplique, english paper piecing and normal piecing for the blocks...added a sashing and then quilted them.

Not sure what made me do the border! But I love it too.

The finished quilt weighed a ton!
