Margie--You are not "dumb". "Dear Jane" is a book by Brenda Papadakis that contains all the patterns to a quilt made in 1863 by Jane Stickle.

You can read all about it at http://dearjane.com

Anne asked me to share with all of you that she made this quilt with a friend. They divided up each row and they made 2 blocks each of their assigned blocks--and then they swapped. So, Anne made 1/2 of these blocks. She wanted to make sure that her friend, Pam, got 1/2 the credit, too!!
