By the looks of this block I'd say you're off to a great start!

Great start and I admire your persistence in the journey. I admire each and every one but my mind keeps saying, "NO WAY......don't even start!"

That's the way to go! You can eat an elephant one bite at a time. In two years, you will be so glad for the journey. Love that block.

Lovely block. I too am making a Dear Jane quilt only I call it my insanity quilt - in my seventies I must have been insane to start it. Nearly finished the blocks. All done in Liberty lawn scraps. Good luck.

That is a pretty block...color choice is perfect...did you machine or hand piece? Two years is not so long for something that intricate...and doing it between other things we have to do. How long did it take Jane to do the original? What is the monthly charge? I think that is a good way to work on this kind......

My hat's off to you. I can't believe you were able to put all those pieces together in just 2 hours! I seem to get too many interruptions to be able to accomplish that. Good luck on your journey with Jane!

That's great! It's ironic that Jane rhymes with "insane" because that is what keeps coming to mind when I am working on it. I would love to see your quilt when you finish it. Please share!
