I used all types of piecing on my DJ. I used some paper piecing, some just by cutting out the patterns and sewing them by hand, that way I could take them with me and sew while waiting in a doctor's office and etc. Thank you.

Thank you all for your wonderful praise. I did use civil war reproductions and attempted to use the same color that the original quilt had. Quiltbyrd

Beautiful job. I can't even imagine making all those small blocks. How will you quilt it?

Thanks for posting - it's lovely to see a Dear Jane actually on a bed, which is what I am aiming for. There are about 80 of us all working towards getting our own Janes done - you have provided a super incentive.
