You mentioned Clarice in a previous post. Having never heard of her and likig the Art Deco period, I Googled her. There is certainly a large following of her work, and I found many examples for sale on-line. No pretty fabric though. Thank you for turning me onto an artist whose work is very interesting. You quilt, came out better than the fabric is came from. Your interpretation is excellent and your applique to go with the OBW is what really makes this a special on of a kind quilt. BRAVO!

Thank you everyone for the kind comments - this fabric is by the English manufacturer Fabric Freedom and is called Decodance. :-D

Wow Wow Wow K!! It is a masterpiece for sure. I was just thinking I hadn't talked to you in awhile and then I saw this post! Love it as I do all you do. This is so beautiful!

I love how you added the applique. The tree is so precisely done it is amazing. I love the individual Ks in your closeup. As always your work is phenomenal.
