Default Decoy quilt

I didn’t intend to finish this one....i just wanted a fairly large sample to experiment with quilting designs. I practiced with the walking foot, and FMQ with rulers and different all over designs. It was really helpful for getting the feel of moving an actual quilt through the machine. As a bonus I discovered it was very handy to use as a decoy quilt for my cat Wally when I was working on another project. It seems as long as he has a quilt to lay down on he is content.

So this one is for Wally. I included a picture of the back but I am not sure if you will be able to make out the mess that was part of my learning curve.

Maybe that's all the animals are trying to tell us when they test out our quilts. They want one of their own!! Wally is very lucky to have such a nice quilt, just for him.

I like it - can we have a picture of the kitty, too?

Are you sure you want to give that to the cat? It looks really nice!

Thank you for the kitty pictures - my favorite color cat.

Have you noticed that - when a cat is not curled up - how it seems to stretch out for maximum coverage (and hair release) on fabric?

I really like that orange and black layout.
