It's a really beautiful quilt! I like the way you dyed the sky fabric, it's perfect for the quilt.

This deer piece is absolutely beautiful! I appreciate seeing this as we have a herd of deer that visits our property every day here.

I haven't quilted it yet but maybe later. The outer border is a dark green distressed suede cloth, I'm not sure how that is going to work,. The deer are actually two pictures. I have a guide friend that sent me the picture of the buck and I can't remember how I got the picture of the doe but I think they work well together.

They are lovely and I think they work well together. Just went to an embroidery seminar yesterday and it was sponsered by "Bigfork Bay Cotton Company". They have some really nice wildlife patterns that this reminds me of. You might want to go there and check out what they have done with theirs....altho I do love yours!...but I think we all need something as comparisons. The two in particular that I looked at were "Autumn Lady" and "Trophy".

I really try hard not to copy or compare my work with others. I have my own style and don't like to mimick others. Thanks so much for your suggestions though.
