    Default delicate spring quilt

I just finished this sweet delicate spring quilt. It has no WOW factor, but I still like it a lot. I currently seem to be on a floral spree. The quilt I made before this had pansies on it, and this one has tulips in sort of an impressionist painting style. I think year five of our severe drought has me planting flowers on quilts since watering outside hasn't bee allowed for a long time.

And, of course, as it gets cold, I can have a piece of spring right here.

Several of you offered advice on fabric selection when I was getting started. Thank you each for that. Here is the final result.

Even though my preference was for the darker green, this turned out quite nice. Well done.

Thanks, if you remember, most of you wonderful quilters voted for the darker green. I even really liked the green fabric better, but it didn't give me the soft look I was after. It took me awhile to realize I was after a soft look.
