    Denim string quilt

    Name: Holden's quilt prequilting-640x480.jpg
Views: 3395
Size: 138.7 KBThis is a quilt made for our oldest grandson out of Papa's old denim jeans. He has seen it and is crazy about it.
Now to decide how to quilt it. It is pretty heavy. I will be using a midweight flannel backing and no batting. I will hopefully have it done by Christmas.
    Thank you for looking.

I think I would either tie it - or stitch in the ditch along the white/light diagonal strips.

    I love it!

Wonderful denim quilt top! I think I would SITD between the blocks and down the border and see if that was enough to hold it together.

Ditto. I think the white diagonal strip, and the dark blue "squares" really set it off.
