I don't make big quilts. I am a miniaturist. But I told him I would see about turning his designs into patterns that can be made. I just need someone who can do paper piecing to help. I don't know how to paper piece at all!!

And paper piecing is something else I want to learn. So if I ever figure it out and could do one of his patterns, I'll let ya know.

Yes, you definitely have a graphic designer in the works there!

You should make one of his designs. It would thrill him to peices I am sure!

He has asked me to make one of his patterns at differant times but he likes those New York Beauties or what ever they are called and there is no way I am doing those. They are gorgeous but I don't know how to do paper piecing and right now don't have time to learn. Maybe one day!

Some of those are very stunning designs. I can't wait to see what you do with them. Are you planning on making any of them into quilts?

He is playing with EQ which gives him the ability to use intricate designs without any thought to how to use them in real life. So I don't know that I am able to transfer them to real patterns. Some of the less intricate ones maybe. I'm just not sure. I would love to see some of them changed into real patterns.
I don't make full size quilts so no I won't ever make them into a quilt. If anyone is interested we could talk about it. It will take someone who has a background in paper piecing I am sure.

Well, that wouldn't be me, lol. I don't paper piece and I have no desire to try it. it's everything I can do to force myself to just go in my sewing room and turn on the heater. Now if I can just sit down and put two pieces of fabric together, lol.

Wow! He's obviously very open minded! Great combos he came up with. Wish I had the time to play like that, but I doubt I would come up with such interesting designs!
