When I saw Emeliasnana's 'Beautiful' tween quilt that she made for her DGD, I knew I wanted to do something similar for my oldest DGD, who will be 12 in January. I talked to Hailey about it and she asked if I could use her name instead of the word 'Beautiful'. Hailey also had final approval of the words that I used to spell her name.

I finished sewing the binding this afternoon. There was a lot of math is this one. My brain still hurts!

I have never seen a quilt as creative and cool as this one. I'm 77yo and just used the word 'cool'. It totally describes this quilt. She will love it.
