DGGS's 1st Quilt - Christmas Present for Mommy

Back in September I posted a picture of my DGGS making an "art" quilt. He was gluing scrap pieces to a square of fabric. He had so much fun, wanted stars, and moons, and red circles for his quilt. I decided to finish his quilt as a Christmas gift for him Mommy. I put three of the pics on the back and quilted some of the things he talked about on the quilt. I think she will love this forever! Can't wait for her to see it!

By the way he was 2 1/2 when he did this!

Just too cute. I love that you did that for his mom. Years from now...so will he.

What a creative little boy. Would you mind if I borrowed your idea ? It's something I would love to do with my great grandson when he is a little older. May in Jersey

I surely don't mind if anyone decides to do this with their children or grandchildren. It is so easy and fun. I use the cheapest, washable glue stick for easy clean up. Cut lots of different shapes, colors, etc and let them go for it!

WOW!! That is amazing. I don't know if my grandson who is 2 1/2 would have the attention span to do that. Your little guy is truly amazing. I think I need to get my scraps out and try it!! :^)

It is just wonderful! His mother is gonna cry, you realize. My grandson will turn 9 months old this week. Wonder if I can remember this long enough.
