    DGranddaughter's Simple Irish Chain quilt

Finally finished it and it will be in the mail this afternoon to her home in CA. Wanted to have it ready to give to her last weekend when she was here in Jersey for her Bridal Shower but I ran out of time. It wasn't her shower gift, so that was OK. May in Jersey

I love the timeless simplicity of Irish Chain - it is really a favorite of mine. Your quilt is lovely, that is a great shade of blue and it really stands out against the white. Great job!

That is really pretty, Mae. I am making a double Irish Chain baby quilt for one of my best friends grandson. He is due in a couple of months. I will post pictures when I finish it...He is really an Irish baby so I am using greens, shamrocks and some great Irish print I got at Joann's after I saw a picture of the fabric on this board. Very exciting!
