Default DH's Braided Irish Chain finally quilted.

I finished the quilting on it a few days ago. It only needs binding and washing.

It is machine pieced and hand quilted. It is 74"x108". I made it extra long because DH was 6"5".

It was started about a year ago and normally would only have taken a 2-3 months, but life and his illness got in the way. He passed away in November.

The picture of him is from about 5 years ago.

What a beautiful quilt and I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I lost my husband the November previous, and it's not easy - but now you have a beautiful quilt in his honor that you can wrap up in and be comforted by.
