Interesting. Could you show us more of the quilt and perhaps a link or instructions for how the block is made?

Could you please post a pic of one of your blocks laid out after cutting, so we "visual" people could put our minds around it. Also then how you rotate the pieces to get your particular layout would be extremely helpful. I just don't get how this is similar to the one you linked to, but if you showed us a pic of your cutting up of the block and then rotation...I'm sure we'd all be "happy campers"!

I hadn't seen this one before. I'm with the others in that I'd love to know the pattern or link on the How-to. Thanks for sharing!

This block is also called 4 patch with a twist. You have the right block. It's cut diagonally two inches on each side of the point. If you look at the site donnajean posted it will tell you. I should have included the site but I'm new to posting. I did try to send a full picture also but only one showed up.Hopefully I will get better at this.
Thanks for looking. <object type="cosymantecnisbfw" cotype="cs" id="SILOBFWOBJECTID" style="width: 0px; height: 0px; display: block;"></object>

Yes donnajean, this is the same block. You cut 2 inches from each side of the points. I tried to send the full picture but for some reason it didn't send both . I'm new to posting to this site but hopefully will learn. I will post the full quilt or at least what i have done when I get through looking at all the beautiful pictures of other quilts.
Thanks for looking..<object type="cosymantecnisbfw" cotype="cs" id="SILOBFWOBJECTID" style="width: 0px; height: 0px; display: block;"></object>
