"Diagonal Nines" new design by Pastimes Quilt Design

My quilt group exchanged nine patch blocks made from Civil War fabrics for and entire year. This is what I made with mine. I decided to arrange the blocks by color in diagonal rows for a more organized scrappy look and for dramatic effect.

oh my I absolutely love it. It looks so difficult from far away and to think its just nine patches and solid read fabrics.
