    Diamond Alley

I've been a busy little beaver, as my grandma used to say! This is a pattern called Diamond Alley and it's made with a line of fabrics called Whisper. I made it for my brother and his wife, so I needed it to be gender neutral, plus it will match their family room nicely. I have a gray herringbone flannel to use for the backing and I still need to quilt it, but I'm not giving it to them until October, so I have plenty of time.

    Thanks for looking!

your quilt is beautiful and I love the blocks set on point

Not tricky - there are bias edges, but not so many that I had a problem with them. The blocks are big, and once they're done, it was pretty easy to sash them together.

It is beautiful! It is also on my long list of quilts to make someday.
A quilt is like a good life. It's full of mistakes, but, in the end, it looks pretty good.

They will LOVE it! I've done a similar pattern on a much smaller scale and I am impressed with the piecing!

I really like that. I was trying to come up with a design for a comfort quilt for a man. I think this will be perfect. I will have to look up the pattern.
