    I love your choice of color for the star. I have done this pattern several times using string piecing but never thought of using white for the stars. Really makes the scrappy diamonds stand out.

    That is going to be so pretty! I have enough blocks done now to make a queen size quilt, backed by pages from an old phone book. Will get around to joining the blocks soon.

    The golds and purples are great together withall the other colors accenting the core. It is going to look awesome when you get it finished.
