Diaper bag and matching quilt

One of my daughters best friends is having her first baby. Our families showed horses for many years together - hence the cowgirl theme. The bag is made with Amy Butler's Weekender bag, and the quilt is made from a pattern called Border Stripe Fun. On the quilt, the fabric between the black sashing is a border print - no piecing. The diamonds were pieced. Sorry for the side-ways pictures - new computer and I don't have a photo editing program on it yet.

Beautiful work - She will be the only person with a matching diaper bag and quilt. What a treasure!

She will love this duo...wow...who wouldn't? That is such a fantastic present. Did you read the thread about how much they were discussing to charge for making a baby quilt. Some said as high as $650. At that rate, you've given your friend at least a $750 present here!
