That is adorable. Yes, I washed and dried in the sun or the dryer in the winter time. No one really knows what a "solar dryer" means these days. I still hang out laundry during the summer to conserve electricity.

I hung my diapers out too.
Had two boys in them.
very cute quilt.

I still hang clothes out year around.
Freeze dry them.

That's one awesome quilt. And, yes it does brings back many memories of washing cloth diapers and drying them in the sun or on make shift lines strung out in the house when it rained. When I hear young family members and their friends complain about no money and the high cost of diapers I tell them about my cloth diapers days but they just get all big eyed and just start laughing. LOL

Yes great memories. I had terry ones by Zorbit and they were great. Loved to see a line of nappies waving in the wind and the smell of them did your heart good.
