Default First Quilt for my GS

Now that he's approaching two and outgrown all his sleep sacs, my daughter is relenting on blankets etc in the crib. It took a while to find some themed material they were familiar with but I did find some charm squares and small yardage from the "Pout Pout Fish" line.
And to lift this small but plain quilt to a more interesting level (both for me and my GS) I stitched some of the characters into the border and scattered over the surface, adding a little more fun, I hope.

What a well planned quilt! Your little grandson will have fun tracing the outline designs with his little fingers.

Oh what a cute quilt for your grandson! He's going to love having that quilt for his very own. I love the stitched characters scattered around in the quilt & the backing fabric is perfect. Love the bright green binding. You did good!!!

Starfish, Turtles, and the crab are adorable. This will be loved and carried for years to come.

Very cute! With all the new “ rules” for child rearing, I wonder how past generations survived.
