I need more coffee...it took me two minutes to see l that all the little "sampler" blocks made up a pattern when put together to resemble the butterfly. Great quilt!!

I actually had this pattern for about 4 years. Never put it away, it stayed out on my table all that time. Between every project I would pick it up & look at it, sometimes take it out & start to read it— my eyes would glaze over, I would shake my head & put it back into its plastic sleeve. Then in January this year after quite a chain of events I picked it up, immediately thought of Aunt Rose & how this needed to be hers. Once I finally decided who it was for I knew what colors it needed to be and dove in. Wasn’t near as bad as I thought it would be. You can’t tell from the picture but the background white is FairyFrost, it shimmers- is so beautiful. I need to get that last side of binding done and send it to her!
