Default Different DHG

From some posts i've read i know that a lot don't care for the disappearing hour glass...but i really enjoy this pattern. This one is for Christmas for my sister in Miami - so i thought i'd keep the colors light and bright....tho they are much more pastel in reality than in the photo. Thanks for looking.

Oh that is a really nice quilt, and it sure looks Florida"y" to me. I like that pattern, Disappearing Hour Glass, will have to look it up. I am not a fan of the hour glass - so am surprised this is based on that.

I too like the DHG. It is a great two colour block--hmmm wonder what it would look like with 4 colours. Will have to try that with some scraps. Your quilt is beautiful and I think your sister will love it. Great job.

I just started a baby quilt using pink and white.....was a little apprehensive about all the bias edges, but took my time and it came out real nice. Jenny (MSQ) has such FUN tutorials!
