I have been all over trying to find the "Bow-Tuck" purse pattern, but evidently it is pretty hot right now and the stores can't keep it on hand. Am so anxious to make some for my nine grandaughters ( ages 15 to 30 ) for Christmas, so must get started as soon as I can get that pattern.

Lorraine, did you try Greenbaum's? That's where I got my bow tuck pattern from.

Thanks again for the help.

Hi, I read that it's a McCall's pattern, but I don't think you mentioned the pattern number....would you mind sharing it please? Hugs Naomi

Your fabrics look good together.BTW.....I hate patterns that have to be "figured out".Isn't a useable pattern what I payed $$ for?

Great bag, and even better fabric choices.

I've noticed that both McCall's and Simplicity have not had as good directions as they used to for several years now. Since I've been sewing forever, I usually don't bother with the instruction page unless it is something totally unique and then I most often look at it and ask myself 'why did they do it that way?'

Your bag came out really cute!
