Default Disappearing 9 Patch Pictures Please!

I've been away from quilting for a few years and want to get started back into it I've bought what I need to get started on a Disappearing 9 Patch quilt. I'm thinking of just doing a random placing but have seen so many varieties online and on youtube. Can you show me some of your pictures of a Disappearing 9 Patch quilt?

    Thanks!

I’m not good with sending pictures so I’ll try to describe - each block needs 9 squares all the same size (5” charm squares work well). Lay out the squares 3 across an 3 down - this can be scrappy or planned. See the squares together into 3 rows and 3 rows down to make a 9-patch block. This block is cut in half vertically and horizontally - thus has to be as close to perfect as possible. Then each of the 4 squares are resewn back, into specific ways. I strongly suggest you just Google 9-patch quilts for a really good explanation and lots of pictures for the best explanation. This is a fun quilt to make.

Look in the quilt gallery menu at the beginning of the pictures section and there are many member's photos of their DNPs or any other pattern you might be interested in.

Here's my disappearing 9-patch. There are so many variations of disappearing patch type blocks including 4-patch, hourglass, etc. I made this one for my ex-beau and used the scraps to make a little patchwork quilt for his kitty. Found another one I'd forgotten about I made up using dinosaur fabrics for a young boy.

Here is an interesting D9P with a difference, by Izy. If you scroll down she explains how its' done. Is on my to-do list.

Here is one I made for a little girl in the hospital. It had to be quick.
