    There are two ways to do the Disappearing Hour Glass. One is to do the cuts parallel to the edges of the block, and the other is to do the cuts parallel to the seams. Both make a beautiful block, but the one with the hour glass in the center will have just a little less to trim.

    Correcting my post... i have never seen a Disappearing Hourglass! I have seen and made about a zillion (seems like) D9P’s but i still love them. Now you really have me inspired with this version!
