Drop dead gorgeous!!! Just LOVE 2-color quilts. That is on my way too long bucket list. Yours is SO pretty.

I tried that pattern out in a couple of sizes to get a feel for it. I love it too. The two I made are still on my design wall. When I finish the quilts I've started I am going to make one. I love yours. You did a great job!

Regarding the binding: did you sew a 2 1/2", a 1 1/2" and another 2 1/2" together, then add them as one border to the quilt top?

I'm still in awe of your quilt!.......

And sewing the binding while it's on the frame....now that's a new one!! It's got me thinking......

Busy fingers: I really love your avatar. I like making scrapies.

Bobbie, I love that pattern. The original block is actually called Broken Dishes. The block has an hour glass in the center, but the addition of the side triangles changes it a little. I've made a few blocks like this, and demo-ed how to make it at our group, but have not made a whole quilt of it yet. I will, someday.
