Disappearing Nine Patch in 2 weeks!

I have just completed my first queen size quilt. I did a D9P and loved every minute of it. It took two weeks from cutting Name: Queen and pillows - Copy.JPG

Know what you mean. My neice and I completed a king sized one d9p for her bed in that time frame. Love that pattern.

Evidently this pattern must be so fast and easy, because I really did not spend my life at the sewing machine during those two weeks. I used 6" strips, so the original nine patch was quite large. Also, I tied it, using three strands of embroidery floss. Love the way it feels, when tied, so soft and fluffy! Thanks for the kind comments.

Love the quilt. How many different fabrics were used to get this design? Looks like three, but just double checking.
