Your star is spectacular! I also was diverted today, but only by a curtain for our basement walk-out--not nearly as much fun as you had.

Thanks Ladies. I think I will make three more and then add other stuff to make it bigger. I will have to return to my other project first tho lol.....

It's all paper pieced Geri. I used a block out of block base called..Dusty Miller and just adjusted the circle in the middle to make a diamond on each patch. Then I took the patch has the flying geese, enlarged it and made the block out of just that patch. If I get a chance, I will do another block and post the instruction.

scroll down and copy the block. Put a dot in the middle and draw a line to the patch with the geese on both side to form the diamond..cut that patch out and add 1/4 inch seam, this is the corner patch, make four and four without the corner, just fold the corner down and add the 1/4 inch seam. This block, however has more flying geese. YOu can eliminate some or wait for me to post a pattern.
