They are both great! The first one - the colored centers make the stars stand out a bit more. In the second one, with the cream centers, it is more serene and the secondary pattern of the double nine patch blocks can come out and play as well.

I'd have a hard time choosing between the two.

I like the first pattern the best. I think that there is more "depth" to it.
