It is a glove stretcher ... insert in the fingers of a leather glove and open

My husband just walked through the room and I showed him the picture and he came up with the same as ThreadHead...
a third hand.........

I just purchased one from a catalog......haven't used it yet but have it if I ever need one !!!!!

I googled as well and found it to be a glove stretcher. Who would have thought??? Just wish I knew how it worked.
