    Default Doggie's rag quilt completed

Well this was my weekend project. It was a smashing hit with Charlie and my DH.
thank- you all who responded to my question last week about rag quilts and fabrics for a doggie rag quilt.

I took this as an opportunity when making this quilt to use flannel as the middle sandwich layer ( same size as the front and back cut squares ) instead of batting. I then sewed 3/4 inch seams instead of 1/2 inch seams for the ragging. The ragging came out perfect. I just wished it was a bit heavier so maybe next one I will include some batting in addition to the extra flannel.

Again, Thanks everyone for your help!

Too cute! Your dog seems to LOVE it! I use 10" flannel for front and back and 8" batting in the middle. Our rag quilts are super warm! Good luck!
