Default Doing the happy dance after a Church Rummage Sale!!

Today was the annual Rummage sale run by a local church. I got there 10 minutes after it opened and made a beeline for the Craft room. They had 3 grocery store paper bags full of fabrics for $2 each. I asked if it was ok if I peeked in the bags to see what they contain and they said I could empty the bags and make bags for myself with just what I wanted. They even had a rocking chair for me to sit in while I did this! OMG!! I made up close to 2 bags of just cottons and left the poly for someone else. I paid the full $2 per bag even though they weren't totally full. I even found a large quantity of an unbleached looking cotton fabric for $1 more. All told I got all the fabric you see below for $5. Now I have to get sewing!

Just remembered I also paid $1 admission to the sale. So that changes the whole pricing structure of the sale. Now I'm not sure I got a good deal - after all I paid a whopping $6 for this fabric.

Just kidding! Still doing the happy dance. I think it will last all day, maybe all weekend.
