    Well you made me cry with your wonderful story. It reminded me of when I was a little girl sewing with my grandmother. I would press the foot pedal with my hands, she had very bad RA and couldn't press it herself. Love the quilt, your granddaughter is adorable.
    Thank you for the wonderful memory of my grandmother.
