Hi and welcome to the board from Iowa. This is an awesome doll quilt. What a luck girl who received this as a gift. Thank you for sharing.
Desiderata (Max Ehrmann) - Walk placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.

What a fabulous introduction! Lovely work. Looks like you don't really need paper piecing to put it all together. It' is wonderful!

Wow! That is a sweet doll quilt. Welcome to the board and I have to say that I think you might be teaching some of us lessons. Your work is very good. So glad you found us.

I'm not familiar with the doll quilt swap - I'll have to look for the thread!
It is in the Member Swaps and Round/Row Robins section - look at some of the older posts and then wait with bated breath for the April Swap to be posted - I'm doing my second one now and it's so much fun and challenging.

PS - Welcome to the board, it is a wonderfully loud, raucous and loving meeting between all the quilty sisters (and a few brothers) you never knew you had
