    Doll Quilt :)

I made this quilt for my daughter. Its about 15"x18". Its actually the second quilt I have made, and the first that I actually finished lol. My other one is just pieced and just ghastly. It is not quilted per se, it has french knots through out and some embroidered flowers, cause I was to scared to FMQ it, I didn't want to ruin it if I messed up!

SO sweet! I love the addition of embroidery. Little dots are one of my favorite design elements. Wonderful work!

As good as this one looks, how could the first one be "ghastly"?-I think you are on your way to great quiltmaking! I love your colors and the quilting is so unique! Come try your hand at the Doll Quilt Swap, it's lots of fun!!

There was probably more work in those french knots than there would have been in quilting. It is gorgeous however, and I wouldn't do it any differently. Only the 2nd? Keep going - lots of talent in there waiting to come out!
