    1st off I will apologize to the lady that gave me this ideal from a quilt she made for her husband. I cant remember her quilt board user's name. She got the ball rolling for me to do this quilt also. Mine is different from her quilt, but more or less the same ideal.

    top 1/2 of the quilt. I put house's, and star's above the "welcome home soldier". That way the welcome home, wont, be tucked under the bed or out of sight, somewhat.

    I'm another one of the folks that's been making a variation of this for a while. Love your color choices and changes. It's a really good Army pattern but the original colors aren't to my taste. So, I also altered my color choices (much closer to your choices).
