Donated fabric/quilt for guild community project
There was a large batch of fabric donated to me for use with wounded warrior quilts that I make.
The fabrics in this quilt were fabric manufacturer sample squares that just didn't seem suitable for warriors; so I sewed them into this lap quilt top/flimsy to give to our guild's community quilt projects. It still needs to be squared up, borders added, and layered. Who knows when it will be quilted, so wanted to share here first!
Our guild makes and donates 200-250 quilts a year to various organizations in our area -- an amazing effort for a 110 member guild that is also involved in many other quilting activities!
